Royal Unibrew's acquisition of all activities of Livu Alus - Latvia's number 3
brewery in terms of size - now realised 


As mentioned in our Announcement RU29/2007 of 15 August 2007, Royal Unibrew's
acqui-sition of all assets and activities of Livu Alus was subject to, among
other things, approval by the Latvian competition authorities. The required
approvals have now been obtained and the transaction has been realised. 

Royal Unibrew's strength in the Baltic countries, in which the Group is already
operating Kalnapilio Tauro Grupe in Lithuania as well as the soft drinks
producer Cido and the Lacplesa Alus brewery in Latvia, is now further enhanced
through the acquisition of Livu Alus in accordance with the ”MACH II” Strategic
Plan. 

The acquisition is made through Royal Unibrew's Latvian subsidiary Lacplesa
Alus, and the activities will be included in the financial statements of the
Royal Unibrew Group as of 1 January 2008.
